About Us
Goals:
“It is the goal of Recluse, LLC to provide the highest quality and best functioning pocket holsters available; that exceed our customers expectations.”
History:
Recluse, LLC was started with the age old axiom that a “better mouse trap” can be built, and that by providing quality products customers will remember that design and function are worth the investment. With this in mind two friends partnered in order to bring the Recluse design of holsters to others that pocket carry.
A couple of years ago Tod Cole (Recluse designer) was looking for a pocket holster for a Kel-Tec P3-AT, during this process an idea came for a design that would eliminate printing by covering one side and allow for an easy one handed draw. After several months and different versions a couple of friends were shown the hoslter and they wanted one for themselves. With a little more development the current Recluse holster was completed and made avialable to our many customers. We continue to work on new designs that meet the concealed carry customers needs. If you have a request to meet your need please let us know.
Mission Statement:
“To Act on well thought out ideas; that lead to Habits of providing the highest quality products; with Character that builds great relationship.”

"The holster is working just great, and I use it daily; very comfortable, never gives itself away, good for front pocket, back pocket, zipper chest pocket in coat, and it's always easy to extricate my pistol when practicing at the range. You have a high quality, excellent and well designed product."

"I just received my Kydex Recluse in the mail last week, and I love it. It's well made, my Ruger LCP fits snugly, yet draws with ease, and it rides wonderfully in my front pocket."

"I like the way the gun moves from the unit as your hand is inserted between the gun and leather. I was not sure if it would be stable enough to palm the firearm in a smooth even fashion; but it works great!"

“I have found the Recluse to be an excellent pocket holster for my Kel-Tec handgun. The pocket shaped design fits perfect in my front pocket -concealing and safely securing my weapon with the well designed trigger block. Because of the easy release, I am able to draw and have my handgun in the ready position quickly. I would highly recommend the Recluse for anyone looking for a good holster for their pocket handgun.”

“I first obtained my handgun permit a year ago. I purchased a Beretta Tomcat 32 and I wanted a pocket holster that would be concealing and comfortable that I could fit in my front pocket. Then I came across the Recluse holster, it’s an amazing holster; it fits very comfortable in my front pocket no matter what kind of pants I have on. If I have on jeans, slacks or even in jogging pants, it’s easy to remove from the holster. I would highly recommend the Recluse for your next pocket holster.”

There are not a lot of truly new ideas for pocket holsters. The guys at Recluse, however, have come up with a new concept that has real promise. The Recluse pocket holster appears to be a little more than half of a traditional pocket holster. One side of the holstered gun is fully covered with a single layer of leather to disguise the outline. This layer of leather forms the outside of the holster away from the body. There is no inside to the holster. The gun is held in the holster by virtue of a hard foam mold that goes inside the trigger guard and fully surrounds and immobilizes the trigger. This method of connection to the holster holds the gun in place and provides maximum protection for the trigger since it cannot move rearward while in the holster. The prime benefit of this design is the ease of separating from the holster when the gun is drawn. The act of acquiring a firing grip on the gun has the natural effect of... Read More

"The Recluse holster is a good idea; simple but effective. It protects the weapon, and keeps it oriented correctly for a swift presentation when needed. It is built well, and built in the USA. I like it."
